Our School believes in attaining excellence in the field of education for the benefit of both privileged and underprivileged students from 11th and 12th standard and those who are preparing for various Government entrance examination.

Establishment & History

GOURAV HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL, Bhubaneswar under the aegis of SIKSHYA FOUNDATION, was established in the year 2020. It was founded by Smt. Minakshy Mohapatra and others, whose vision and deep passion was to serve the growing population of Bhubaneswar city, with an affordable yet high quality education.

The school is Govt. of Odisha recognized and registered with the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha. The school is co-educational and has science stream for the higher secondary. The school boasts of highly qualified and dedicated teaching staff.

The school has churned out 4 batches of higher secondary students till date. After 6 years of existence till date is proudly basking in its glory. It has achieved the dreams of its founders and is striving to reach greater heights. Presently the school has the strength of more than 350 students and nearly 34 dedicated staff.

The intellectual, social, emotional, physical, spiritual and aesthetic development of the students is fostered to enhance their quality in life.
Students are prepared for active, independent learning in an environment which imbibes a spirit of competition, leadership in order to excel academically, socially and intellectually.
To provide students with best education by nurturing self-confidence, self-discipline, critical thinking and creativity which will encourage them in enduring love of knowledge, passion as well as responsibility to make a positive difference in the lives of others through their own actions and example.
To create an ambience conducive to creative learning.
The aim of education is not to prepare the individual student to succeed in life and society alone, but to increase his perfectibility to the utmost.
We aim to preserve and enhance the highest standards of excellence and prepare generations for the 21st century.
Our students will be helped to master the expanding horizons of technology and also become the repository of a deep commitment to Indian ethos and culture in its pristine form.
The school students are aimed to be equipped to access the best opportunities of growth and advancement by being prepared linguistically and culturally for them.
